A properly designed estate plan should protect you, your family and your finances. Burns, Henry & Kirksey is committed to providing solution-driven estate planning representation. In this presentation, Attorney Bryce Kirksey answers 10 of the most common questions about estate planning in Tennessee.
These questions and topics include:
- Do I need a Will?
- What happens if I pass away without creating a Will?
- What is probate and should I try to avoid it?
- Are there other estate planning documents that I should have?
- How does a power of attorney actually work?
- Does it make sense to set up a trust?
- Are beneficiary designations part of an estate plan?
- What happens to my debts when I die?
- How can I keep the nursing home from taking my home?
- What are the most common estate planning mistakes to avoid?
At the end of the presentation there will be time for Q&A as well.
