Form-Based Code Luncheon
Chattanooga-Hamilton County Regional Planning Agency
DESCRIPTION
DID YOU KNOW? In June 2016, the City of Chattanooga adopted new zoning for all of the downtown, including the North Shore, Southside and MLK areas. This new zoning impacted almost 3,000 properties. The new Form-Based Code (FBC) is different from the old, conventional zoning in that it places more emphasis on the physical form of buildings and creates more flexibility for the uses that take place inside the buildings. You do not want to miss this information-packed session covering:
- Why we needed a Form-Based Code
- How the FBC is organized
- Basic standards contained in the FBC
- Review and Approval process
Lunch will be provided for this FREE informational session. Please RSVP using the link below.
