This will be a fun and valuable workshop. Ever wonder if you could save time / money using a laser to measure? Is your computer set up with 2 monitors so you can copy data from a MLS record into your appraisal software? Are you taking advantage of useful software like Dropbox, Phoenix Suite and other free software? There is also low cost software that can assist us in our jobs as appraisers. Ever thought about creating “paperless” workfiles (I don’t mean scanning your workfile). No more paper, toner ink or STORAGE!! It’s easy with the correct software utility and computer setup. What about laptops, tablets and phones? Do you know what you need to know about their use? How about using these portable devices to enter your appraisal date in the field while doing an inspection? We will discuss all these things in detail and actually use the above devices in the class! This will be one class you will enjoy.
