This morning, the MLS and Executive Committees voted to reenable the in-person Open House function effective immediately. Also, the Virtual Open House field remains available as an alternative to in-person Open Houses.
Regardless of which Open House option (In-Person or Virtual) you and your seller agree upon, you should take health and safety precautions when interacting with colleagues, clients, and customers. Please refer to the CDC Guidelines and re-opening guidelines from the State of Tennessee and the State of Georgia.
As always, adhere to your managing broker’s policies regarding how to conduct in-person showings and open houses safely at this time. Also, proactively communicate with your clients to ensure they are comfortable with all the activity occurring in their property and any safety measures you’re using in your business now.
Review NAR’s Coronavirus Resources, which include COVID-19 Showing Guidance During Reopening and Viewing Properties Virtually During COVID-19.
