2014 Membership Renewals Due November 30
The 2014 Membership Dues (local, state and national) have been posted to member accounts and are due November 30. Please take a minute to renew your membership and retain all the rights and privileges of Association members. If you have any questions about the 2014 dues, please email billing@gcar.net.

Congratulations to Raymond Warren, who is the winner of the iPad Mini, provided by Ben Phillips of Hometown Lenders. Thanks to the generosity of our members through participation in the Fall Festival and the iPad Mini drawing, we will stock the Widows Harvest pantry with more than $2,600 worth of canned goods and non-perishable items.
Drop-Off Canned Goods TODAY!
Canned goods for Widows Harvest can be dropped off at the Association until 5 pm today. Volunteers will add the donated canned goods to the items purchased with the monetary donations and deliver them to Widows Harvest on Thursday of this week. If you are available to help with this effort on Thursday, please contact marie@gcar.net.
The Scoop from the 2013 NAR Conference & Expo
Our Association was well-represented in San Francisco during the recent NAR Conference & Expo. With 12 of us in attendance, we learned lots to share with our members. The hot topics included Advocacy, Dual Agency in Short Sale Transactions, Off-MLS Listings and Listing Syndication. NAR announced a new .REALTOR top level domain for members, as well as plans to re-invent the national headquarters building in Chicago. NAR Board of Directors Recent Actions
Closing out the NAR Conference was the meeting of the NAR Board of Directors, who took action on items, including a new national headquarters, eminent domain, gender-identity discrimination, and qualifications for REALTOR Emeritus status. Read the full report from NAR Board Meeting.
