To accommodate more members while at the same time not distracting from their daily responsibilities, two GCAR staff (Jessica and Holly) are certified (through The CE Shop and GA MLS) to proctor the GA salespersons post-licensing exam. Beginning April 1, GCAR will offer proctoring services every Friday at 2 pm.
Each proctoring session is limited to ten (10) members.
COST
There is no cost for proctoring services; however, the standard no-show fee of fifteen dollars ($15) will apply.

DESCRIPTION
The QuickBooks Basic course is an introduction to QuickBooks accounting software. The main objective of the class is to introduce students to the basic features in QuickBooks and give an opportunity for hands-on practice. Students will learn how to enter and track income and expenses. By the time the course is complete, students will have an efficient way to maintain financial information. The course is designed to make accounting and bookkeeping easy. This specific course was designed for 1099 contractors such as Real Estate Agents. As a 1099 contractor the Internal Revenue Service requires quarterly estimated tax payments. By learning these basic features, students will be better prepared for quarterly tax planning.
Please note: Lisa Mayo is a Certified Public Accountant & Business Consultant and will also answer agents questions regarding taxes and how to effectively plan for taxes as a real estate agent. This course is excellent when it comes to organizing and preparing agents for financial success.
